With a thirty five year resume in expedition travel and wilderness leadership, I have created a unique opportunity to explore the amazing country of Panama. The emphasis of Great Journeys is to provide eco adventure tours, in small groups by canoe and on foot, into the magical waterways, rainforests, and islands of Panamas Caribbean coast.

Our purpose is to unleash the hidden anthropologist within by visiting the villages of the last remaining indigenous tribes of Bribri, Ngobe Bugle and Teribe. We employ proud local guides to explore the rainforests and rivers that have been their home for centuries. The internationally protected UNESCO world heritage park, La Amistad, is the setting for our journeys. The biodiversity of flora and fauna mixed with the variety of bird and wildlife is simply unmatched anywhere on the planet. Our attention then turns to the captivation of the beaches and reefs of the neighboring Boca del Toro islands.
